Today, Shanghai Theatre Academy, the most popular acting department, ushered in three tests. This is also the first time that the offline art examination suspended due to the epidemic has resumed after three years. At eight o'clock in the morning, the first candidates entered the check-in room, and the teacher carefully examined the faces of each candidate. Makeup is not allowed, beauty pupils cannot be worn, although these requirements have been stated in the admission brochure, there are still many candidates who wear light makeup and beautiful pupils, and can only remove their makeup in a hurry on the spot.
Candidate: It is written in the admission brochure, I wear a little bit, there is a small black ring, myopia 400 degrees. No way, according to the school's prospectus, take it off now.
At half past eight, the candidates lined up to enter after receiving the number plates, and the third test officially began. This year, more than 37,000 people applied for the theater, of which more than 8,000 applied for the most popular acting department, drama, film and television. After the initial and re-examinations, only 211 people finally entered the third examination, and 37 were admitted.
Half of the nine examiners are from outside the school and will be assessed in all aspects through workshops.
Huang Changyong, president of Shanghai Theater Academy: Generally, there are 30 students in a session, and nine examiners spend half a day to repeatedly test, observe, and test them repeatedly, and finally the nine examiners score each to rank.
More than three hours later, the first batch of candidates walked out of the examination room one after another. Candidate: I didn't expect this kind of examination before, it's quite interesting, and the class format tests the usual knowledge and major.
Candidate: There is no preparation time, and it starts as soon as it comes up.
Candidates: More improvised, more depending on psychological quality, but also depends on your reaction ability, and the length of time is longer than other exams.
Candidate: This is a very new form of examination that I have been exposed to, and it is also important to go back and study the culture well.
The 211 candidates for the third test will complete the exam in batches over four days, but whether they can finally enter the admission list of 37 people depends on the results of the college entrance examination.
This year, the college entrance examination score requirements for candidates in the acting department have been raised, and candidates must reach 70% of the ordinary score line of each province. Next year, according to the new policy of the Ministry of Education's art examination, it will reach 100%. In other words, next year, dozens of first-class art colleges with school examination qualifications, such as opera, Chinese opera, and Nortel, must reach the level of ordinary first-class cultural courses. This means that the art test fever will gradually cool down.
Huang Changyong, president of Shanghai Theater Academy: The difficulty is increasing year by year, we expect that the number of applicants for our school next year will be a little less, we think that the art examination has low requirements for college entrance examination results, to change this concept, the new policy is overheated on art examinations, or some of the traffic star phenomenon that is generally dissatisfied in our entertainment industry may have some impact and curb, in the long run it is conducive to the cultivation of artistic talents in our country.
