On the afternoon of April 29, the School of Humanities of Southwest Jiaotong University and the Sichuan Baroque Theater signed a strategic cooperation agreement, and the two sides will cooperate effectively at multiple levels such as creation and performance, learning and practice, research and application.
"It's not just as simple as hanging up a card, but when it comes to doing it, do it well." Peng Kewei, president of the Sichuan Baroque Opera House, explained to reporters that promoting the effective implementation and specific implementation of universities and art theaters is the main motivation for the signing of the contract between the two sides.
According to Peng Kewei, after the cooperation is reached, the artists of the theater and the teachers and students of the school will jointly participate in music creation, debriefing performances, and set up a symphony orchestra and choir.
The Baroque Opera House will become the most important base for the study and internship practice of art students of Jiaotong University, while providing employment opportunities and so on. The artists of the theater will also go to colleges and universities to study and study on their own.
