In the evening, nearly 100 musicians from the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra joined hands with three local Chinese musicians - Qin Liwei, one of the "three masters" of cello, Wang Kang, a lyrical tenor, and Zhai Huijuan of "Madame Butterfly" of the Sydney Opera House, to present a musical feast of mutual learning between The East and the West for the local audience.

The concert featured "Cello Concerto in D minor" composed by Outstanding Chinese composers such as Zhao Jiping and Wang Xilin, "Zhuang Zhoumeng" in D minor, the symphonic suite "Yunnan Music Poems: Torch Festival", "Sunny Day" from "Madame Butterfly", and the aria "Nobody Sleeps Tonight" in "Turandot". The climax of the whole concert was repeated, and the Chinese and Western classic works won the warm applause of more than 2,000 audiences under the wonderful interpretation of the artists.
