Exam registration consists of two parts: online registration and on-site audit. The online registration period is from 12 January 2022 to 24:00 on 25 January 2022. The on-site audit period is from February 14, 2022 to February 27, 2022.

According to the Law of the People's Republic of China on Practicing Physicians and the Interim Measures for the Qualification Examination of Physicians, the qualification examination for physicians will be held nationwide in 2022. The exam syllabus remains unchanged. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1. Examination registration
Exam registration consists of two parts: online registration and on-site audit.
The online registration period is from 12 January 2022 to 24:00 on 25 January 2022. Candidates are requested to fill in their personal information truthfully and accurately in accordance with relevant regulations. Candidates who take the practical skills examination at the National Practical Skills Examination Base in 2021 and pass the comprehensive medical examination of that year can directly participate in the comprehensive medical examination after online registration and qualification review in 2022.
The on-site audit period is from February 14, 2022 to February 27, 2022, and the specific matters can be consulted at the test center office of the place of registration.
Candidates are advised to arrange online registration and on-site review time.
2. Practical skills examination
The national examination times are as follows:
Practical skills examinations are organized and implemented by the leading groups for the physician qualification examinations of all provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and are conducted in principle at the National Practical Skills Examination Bases. The passing score line for the Practical Skills Exam is 60 points. Those who take the examination at the National Practical Skills Examination Base and pass the examination will be valid for two years.
3. Comprehensive medical examination
The examination is computerized, and the military personnel on active duty are tested for military medicine, pre-hospital emergency posts, and pediatric specialties. The categories of traditional Chinese medicine are Mongolian medicine, Tibetan medicine, Uyghur medicine, and Kazakh medicine. The unified examination times are as follows:
In addition to the categories of traditional Chinese medicine (traditional Chinese medicine (Zhuang medicine) specialty, Mongolian medicine, Tibetan medicine, Uyghur medicine, Kazakh medicine), the passing score line for practicing physicians is 360 points, and the passing score line for practicing assistant physicians is 180 points.
The above Traditional Chinese Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (Zhuang Medicine) Specialty, Mongolian Medicine, Tibetan Medicine, Uyghur Medicine, kazakh medicine all include those with the required academic qualifications, teachers or real expertise.
4. Other matters
(1) In 2022, continue to carry out the pilot project of "two tests a year" for the clinical category of the physician qualification examination and the comprehensive examination of traditional Chinese medicine with the prescribed academic qualifications. Candidates who have applied for the physician qualification examination for that year in the pilot examination area, and the passing results of the practical skills examination are within the validity period, candidates who have not passed the first comprehensive medical examination and have no disciplinary violations, and candidates who have missed the first comprehensive medical examination and have not paid the examination fee can register for the second comprehensive medical examination. The list of pilot examination areas and other arrangements will be announced separately.
(2) In 2022, no examinations for traditional Chinese medicine (DPRK medicine) specialties and Dai medicine examinations for traditional Chinese medicine categories will be organized.
(3) In 2022, continue to carry out the pilot project of Kazakh medical examination in the category of traditional Chinese medicine. Candidates who meet the registration requirements shall apply for the examination in accordance with the relevant regulations.
(4) The relevant provisions of the qualifications for the medical doctor qualification examination and the relevant information of the examination, each examination area, examination center and candidates can log on to the website of the National Health Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine to inquire, or log on to the National Medical Examination Network and the China Traditional Chinese Medicine Examination Certification Network.
