For example, Zhang Rui said that in ordinary life, we have met many "Ma Bao" and "Dad Bao" children, who come to stretch out their hands and eat to open their mouths. Some junior high school students and college students even take home large bags of dirty clothes on weekends for their parents to wash. Should parents take the opportunity to reflect on whether these habits and behaviors of their children are the result of the "cultivation" of parents? A parent frankly said that family labor education is a self-reliant education for the healthy growth of children, not a simple preaching by parents, but a process in which parents accompany their children to grow up together. Zhang Rui said frankly that children of every age have corresponding labor skills that need to be mastered. Some of these skills are cultivated and acquired by children under the guidance of school teachers, and some are gained in social interaction and practical growth, but more skills are accumulated and formed in the daily family labor education guidance.

Zhang Rui said that from these details, we can see the way parents cultivate their children to develop good habits, and the children's excellent self-care ability is inseparable from the parents' usual scientific and careful guidance and care. In her view, the formation of self-care ability in life helps to cultivate children's sense of responsibility, self-confidence and ability to deal with problems on their own.

Zhang Rui suggested that during the stay-at-home period, parents can teach their children to cook a few home-cooked dishes or make a few simple snacks under the premise of ensuring safety, which will help improve the quality of parent-child life.
