On April 28, GAC Toyota bZ4X opened pre-sale, launching a total of 5 models, with a pre-sale range of 220,000-300,000 yuan. The new car is positioned as a pure electric medium-sized SUV, available in two versions, single-motor and dual-motor versions, and the single-motor version has a maximum endurance of 615km. The size of the bZ4X is close to that of its own Veranda, which can be regarded as a pure electric version of Veranda, with a wheelbase of 2850mm like the highlander positioning, surpassing the competitor Volkswagen ID.4 series models.
Special-shaped steering wheel
The new car features a hammer-shaped shark grille with a newly designed LED light cluster on both sides connected to the middle-through daytime running lights. The whole vehicle blackens the surrounding exterior trim parts, and the overall is more sci-fi dynamic. The rear of the car features a sneakback design with shark fin antennas, motion spoilers and diffusers. The interior is equipped with a floating LCD instrument and a new style steering wheel shape, and the top version also offers a 12.3-inch suspension central control screen, a special-shaped steering wheel and steer-by-wire configuration.
In terms of power, GAC Toyota bZ4X provides single-motor front-drive models and dual-motor four-wheel drive models, both equipped with battery packs jointly developed with CATL Times, using the X-MODE four-wheel drive system jointly developed with Subaru, providing "Grip-Control intelligent multi-road condition adaptation system, with 8.4s and 7.7s acceleration time of 100 kilometers, respectively.
