In order to further improve the fire safety management of electric vehicles and effectively eliminate potential safety hazards, on May 10, the Zuoquan County Fire and Rescue Brigade actively joined forces with the grid members of the jurisdiction to enter the Wenfengyuan community to popularize the knowledge of electric vehicle fire prevention.
In this action, the propagandists and the members of the Queen Mother Holy Community Grid formed a safety publicity team to walk into the Wenfengyuan community of Zuoquan County, put up posters in more than 10 places, and distributed more than 50 copies of the "Electric Bicycle Fire Prevention Manual" and other publicity materials to popularize the knowledge of safe use of electric vehicles, and guide residents to standardize the storage of electric vehicles and use charging piles safely.
On the same day, the propaganda team also walked into the charging shed of the community to check the presence of fire-fighting equipment, the integrity and effectiveness of the charging pile, the charging code of conduct, the long-term occupation of the charging space by non-charging vehicles, and the unobstructed fire passage, etc., and contacted the property and security personnel, and instructed the relevant personnel to carry out regular cleaning and persuasion and education.
"The original charger must be used for charging, and the electric bicycle and battery must not be modified to avoid the battery overdue service. During this period, the lecturer constantly emphasized the potential safety hazards of "flying wire charging", combined with the case of electric vehicle fire accidents, so that everyone realized the importance and necessity of preventing electric vehicle fire accidents, and urged residents in the jurisdiction to consciously abide by fire safety laws and regulations.
In the next step, the Zuoquan County Fire and Rescue Brigade will cooperate with grid members and volunteers to carry out electric vehicle fire protection publicity activities, comprehensively improve the popularization and coverage rate of common sense for the safe use of electric vehicles, and form a good atmosphere for everyone to "pay attention to fire protection and participate in fire fighting".
