At present, the third concept car of the Audi family, urbansphere, has been officially released, and it is also the last concept model launched after the Skysphere (sports car) and Grandsphere (large sedan). It is reported that the new car positioning brand under the medium and large SUV, the main competitors also cover Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV, BMW iX5 (pure electric version) and other SUV models of the same level.
In terms of size, the Audi Urbansphere concept car has a length× width and height of 5500×2000×1780mm, and a wheelbase of 3400mm, and its body length and wheelbase size have surpassed the Mercedes-Benz GLS model (length 5218mm, wheelbase 3135mm). At the same time, the exterior part of the new car will also provide 24-inch multi-spoke aluminum alloy wheels, and add a digital LED grille at the head and tail. It is worth mentioning that the new car also provides a door opening method similar to the rolls-Royce "two-door" design, which further enhances the luxury atmosphere of the model.
In the interior part, the Audi Urbansphere concept car adopts a front and rear 2+2 four-seat layout design. At the same time, the new car also has a Level 4 automatic driving function, and its steering wheel, digital dashboard and pedals will be hidden when the vehicle is autonomous. The digital screen in the front of the new car and the passenger entertainment system in the rear can also be interconnected, and support many functions such as face recognition and speech recognition.
The Audi Urbansphere Concept will be based on the electric vehicle-specific PPE platform developed by Audi and Porsche for production vehicles together with the Audi Q6 e-tron, A6 e-tron and Porsche Macan EV models, and will be driven by dual front and rear motors, with a maximum output of 295 kW, a peak torque of 690 N·m, and a 120 kW·h battery pack with a maximum cruising range of up to 750 km under WLTP conditions. At the same time, the new car also has 800 volt fast charging technology, which can achieve a fast charging capacity of up to 270kW and complete a 300km endurance reserve in 10 minutes.
