1. New energy vehicles and energy-saving vehicles in the mainland should be developed at the same time, and it is not recommended to formulate a "ban on fuel vehicles" timetable. By 2035, energy-saving vehicles and new energy vehicles will account for about half of each.
2. Energy-saving vehicles achieve "hybridization". Energy saving in traditional vehicles is a very important task in the next fifteen years, and hybrid power is the most effective energy-saving technology for internal combustion engine vehicles. Replacing the "no-fire" timetable with a "comprehensive electric drive plan" is more in line with China's national conditions.
3. The roadmap predicts the development vision and phased milestones for the next 15 years: by 2025, pure electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles in the mainland will account for 15%-25% of total sales; 30%-40% in 2030; and 50%-60% in 2035.
It is not difficult to see that the mainland is very firm on the road of electrification, and according to the data of the Association of Passenger Vehicles, the monthly penetration rate of new energy passenger cars in March 2022 was 28.2%, +6.4pcts month-on-month, a record high. Among them, pure electric vehicles are the absolute main force and the future of the industry, but in this stage of transition from the fuel era to the era of electrification, the development of hybrid models or more accurately plug-in hybrid models is indeed of great significance.
So do we choose pure trams directly in one step, or do we transition through hybrid models in line with the times? With such a big controversy over hybrid models on the Internet, is it really worth buying? Compared with fuel vehicles, what are its advantages and disadvantages? This is indeed worth exploring.
First of all, there is a simple distinction between hybrid vehicles, the most common hybrid vehicles are divided into two categories of plug-in hybrid and oil-electric hybrid, the oil-electric hybrid representative model is the Japanese two fields and the European car series of various micro-hybrid, weak hybrid system, plug-in hybrid representative models have our own brand BYD DM hybrid system and so on.
Specifically. Oil-electric hybrid (HEV) is to add a motor and battery to the fuel model, during the driving process, the excess energy during the engine operation or the energy recovered during braking, and the battery is charged. In the initial stage, the use of electric motors to drive the car can be quickly accelerated, and when a certain speed is reached or the power is insufficient, the internal combustion engine will intervene to output the power. Basically, the HEV series is more inclined to fuel consumption in terms of fuel consumption and efficiency, and the fuel saving is the first goal, and the relative performance may not be satisfied.
Plug-in hybrid (PHEV), that is, the battery on the car can be charged by the form of external power plug-in, plug-in hybrid car is equipped with a complete set of electric system, both can use the motor for a long time to drive alone, just like pure electric vehicles, you can also use two kinds of power to drive together. Compared with HEV, PHEV can have higher pure electric endurance, and the combined power mode of PHEV has higher efficiency.
In fact, gasoline-electric hybrid vehicles are essentially driven by fuel, and plug-in hybrid vehicles are closer to pure electric vehicles, and can also apply for new energy licenses.
Advantages of hybrid vehicles:
Traditional fuel vehicles are very fuel-intensive at the start and acceleration, and the brakes go downhill and other situations can not make good use of these kinetic energy, and hybrid vehicles solve these two points very well. At the start and at low speed, the car will choose pure electric drive, and the engine will intervene in time to provide power when a greater power output is needed; when the battery is sufficient, pure electric drive can be realized, and the fuel consumption in hybrid mode can be significantly reduced, and the fuel economy is better.
Disadvantages of hybrid vehicles:
1, although compared to fuel vehicles more fuel-efficient, but usually hybrid models will be 20,000-30,000 yuan or more higher than the same configuration of fuel models, while the battery general shelf life is 8 years or 200,000 kilometers, and the price of replacing the battery is about 2-25,000 yuan, so these costs need longer mileage to offset.
2, although the plug-in hybrid model can solve the mileage anxiety, but if it wants to get better fuel economy, it needs to maintain sufficient power at all times, which requires good charging conditions, otherwise the fuel economy will be significantly reduced, and the charging conditions for themselves and even the city where they are located are higher.
Overall, if the charging conditions of their own or the city are not good, and they usually use more time, they need to significantly reduce fuel consumption, then HEV models are very worth buying, but as long as they do not meet any of the conditions, HEV models are not worth recommending.
PHEV models correspond to, if they and the city's charging conditions are very good, can ensure the health of the battery, usually for long-distance travel and more situations, PHEV models are worth recommending, if you do not meet the above conditions, then the fuel car is better, if you meet the above conditions but the long-distance demand is not high, it is more worth recommending pure electric models.
