Last year, Nissan launched a new Pathfinder SUV overseas, tentatively designated as the "Pathfinder" in China. The most significant change in the new model is the gearbox from the old CVT to THE AT, a change that has been well received by overseas automotive media, and most people say that its advent has given Nissan a strong competitiveness in the field of three-row seat large SUVs.
This time, Nissan brought the Rock Creek Edition to Pathfinder, an upgraded version of off-road performance enhancements, with a basic upgrade that includes an exclusive suspension system that boosts the 5/8-inch off-road type, 18-inch all-terrain wheels with anti-off-loop, and a smart panoramic imaging system that is easy to use in off-road traversal.
In terms of appearance, the new car adds some very wild kits, including a black plastic front bar surround and a black V-Motion sports front grille, and the rear part of the car is equipped with the "Rock Creek" exclusive alphabet under the Pathfinder logo. In addition, the roof is equipped with a luggage rack that can withstand 100 kg of weight.
You think that's the end of it? Far from enough. Nissan also equipped it with a trailer hook with taillight signal interface, LED fog lights, a second row of aviation seats, and a body color combination of six monochromes and four dual-color panels.
In terms of power, the performance of the Rock Creek version has been improved. The original model is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine, with a maximum power of 209 kW to 217 kW and a peak torque of 351 Nm to 366 Nm, mated to a 9AT gearbox, and with a four-wheel drive system.
The new car is expected to go on sale in North America by the end of this summer.
