In addition to the aforementioned declaration, BYD has also signed the Global Memorandum of Understanding on Zero Emissions of Medium- and Heavy-Duty Vehicles, which aims to achieve zero emissions of medium- and heavy-duty trucks by 2030, accounting for 30% of sales of medium- and heavy-duty trucks, and 100% of sales of medium- and heavy-duty trucks by 2040, in order to promote zero carbon emissions by 2050.

According to the production and sales express report data released by BYD on April 3, BYD's new energy vehicle sales reached 104878 units in March, and its monthly sales exceeded 100,000 for the first time, an increase of 333.06% year-on-year. Among them, 53,664 EV pure electric models were sold, and 50,674 DM plug-in hybrid models were sold. It can be seen that BYD uses pure electric and hybrid "two legs" to walk.
By model, BYD Han series sales in March 12359 vehicles, Han DM increased by 524.9% month-on-month; Tang series 9625 vehicles, the new generation of Tang DM increased by 565.9%; Song family sales of 26729 vehicles, Song DM increased by 2991.3%; Qin family sales of 24797 vehicles, an increase of 468.4%; Yuan family 12881 vehicles.
