From April 1, the newly revised Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses (Decree No. 162 of the Ministry of Public Security) will be officially implemented, and a new light traction trailer quasi-driving type (C6) will be added to better meet the needs of the masses for caravan travel and promote the development of new forms of caravan tourism.
According to the provisions of the new ministry order, those who apply for a C6 quasi-driving driver's license should pay attention to the following matters -
Regarding the application method: Those who have obtained a quasi-driving driving license or above for driving a small car (C1) or a small automatic transmission car (C2), and have not recorded 12 points in the current scoring cycle and the most recent scoring cycle before the application, can apply for a driving license for additional light tractor trailer (C6).
Regarding the age of application: The person applying for a C6 driver's license must be over 20 years old and under 60 years old. For those over 60 years old and under 70 years old, if there is a real need to drive a light traction trailer, they can also apply for an additional C6 driving license after passing the ability tests such as memory, judgment and reaction.
About the driving test: subject two and three safe and civilized driving knowledge, subject two examination items include pile test, curve driving, right angle turn three items, focusing on the driver's perception, judgment, operation of the body position, moving trajectory and other perception, judgment, operation, to ensure that there is a light tractor trailer safe driving ability.
It should be noted that if you originally held an A2 quasi-driving license, have cancelled your A2 driving license due to reaching the age of 60 or voluntarily demotion, and now there is a need to drive a light traction trailer, you can directly apply to the Vehicle Management Institute to endorse the C6 quasi-driving qualification.
The Traffic Management Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security reminds the majority of drivers and friends that light traction trailers are car trains, driving operations are relatively difficult, high requirements for drivers' safe driving ability and awareness, driving light traction trailers are mostly self-driving tourism trips, the use of scenarios are mostly highways, mountain roads and other complex environments, travel should pay close attention to road conditions, rationally plan driving routes, strictly abide by road traffic safety laws and regulations, drive cautiously, drive civilized, and ensure road traffic safety.
