The last dance of the veteran

Former Asian record holder Reona Aoki, who swam 1:05.76 in the preliminaries, finished second by 0.02 seconds and will compete together at the Paris Olympics.

Satomi Suzuki swam 2:23.09 in the women's 200m breaststroke final to win gold and unlock her second Olympic ticket, and she also won gold in the women's 50m breaststroke final in the non-Olympic event with a time of 30.42 seconds, thus winning all three individual titles in the women's breaststroke event.

(2) 29-year-old veteran Daiya Seto (Daiya SETO) finally swam a personal season best of 1:56.87 in the men's 200m medley final to win the gold medal after missing out on Olympic qualification for the 400m medley (silver medal) and 200m butterfly (bronze medal) in succession, securing the Olympic ticket and ranking fifth in the world this year.

(3) National record holder Rikako IKEE won the second place in the women's 100m butterfly final, swimming a time of 57.30 seconds and meeting the national standard. After this battle, Paris will be her third Olympic Games. She also won the gold medal in the women's 100m freestyle with a time of 54.15 seconds and the gold medal in the women's 50m freestyle with a time of 24.88 seconds, but unfortunately neither of them met the national selection standards. Although Ikee Rikako is only 23 years old, it is difficult for her to return to the top after experiencing the baptism of a major illness, and it is already very inspirational to be able to stand on the stage of the Olympic Games again, bless her.

As a double champion in the women's medley at the last Olympics, her 2:09.17 was far from the national record she set seven years ago (2:07.91), but it was already her personal best this season.
