Therefore, I am deeply confused about the B70S, a coupe SUV launched by FAW Besturn for young people and focusing on appearance and sports. At the same time, I also know that in the absence of brand influence, the only way for the Pentium B70S to open up the situation is to impress consumers with high product strength and cost performance.
So the question is, is the B70S OK?
Reasonable pricing and certain advantages

Compared with the same type of Changan UNI-T, Haval Chitu and other models, the pricing of the Pentium B70S is indeed more advantageous, but today's young consumers pay more attention to the comprehensive cost performance, rather than just looking at the price. Therefore, in the case of brand influence is not dominant, the slightly lower price of B70S may attract attention to a certain extent, but in the end, it is the product itself that affects consumer decision-making.

Without a price that allows consumers to be reckless, the pressure comes to the product strength of the B70S. This 2.0T engine is FAW's self-developed products, the maximum horsepower is 224 horses, the maximum torque is 340 Nm, compared with the current mainstream 2.0T engine, the power output of this 2.0T engine is medium, in addition, the Aisin 6AT matching the engine is also somewhat behind. However, considering that the minimum pricing of 2.0T is only 126,900 yuan, coupled with the promotion policy, the actual starting price is still lower, and at this price, it can also give a set of medium-level 2.0T+6AT power combinations, and Pentium is also sincere.
It is worth mentioning that this set of powertrains that do not look so advanced, the actual power performance is not bad. Because the displacement is large enough and the horsepower output exceeds 200 horses, the B70S has sufficient power reserves whether it is stop-and-go in the city, overtaking on mountain roads or high-speed cruising. Aisin's 6AT is not advanced, but it is also a very reassuring product, its combing of power is in place, the quality of gear shifting is high, and the sense of experience is superior.
As for the combination of 1.5T+ 7 speed wet double clutch, I personally feel that the significance for consumers is not great, they all buy coupe SUVs, do they have to lose power for a little fuel consumption, if you really want to save fuel, it is better to buy a more suitable SUV for home, what do you think?

In the author's opinion, the Pentium B70S is suitable for young people who like coupe SUVs, especially those with limited budgets, although its product power is not extreme, but the overall performance has reached the mainstream level, and the experience it brings will not obviously affect the daily car. Especially its 2.0T minimum match, after the discount, the price of the naked car is just about 120,000, and the cost performance is appropriate.
