"Liu Taibo" is a friend of the poet. Taibo is an official name, short for Dr. Taichangji or Dr. Taixue.

"Hui", here referring to hui gift, is a polite term. The other party gave gifts, which benefited me, so the cloud.

"New poem" refers to Liu Taibo's newly written poem.

"Will", pronounced here "wei", means gift.

The "True Scriptures", Taoist and Taoist classics. Liu Taibo was a eunuch, not a Taoist. Therefore, I suspect that this "True Scripture" may refer specifically to Zhuangzi. Zhuangzi was given the title of "Nanhua Zhenren" during the reign of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang, and the book Zhuangzi was revered as the Nanhua Zhenjing. The thinking of ancient Chinese intellectuals was often complementary to Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism. When the career path is smooth, their dominant ideology is Confucianism, and when the career path is frustrated, they often use Buddhist and Taoist ideas to soothe the soul.

"Xian Biao", here refers to cranes. Cranes, taoists think of as "fairy birds", have the standard of immortals.

The Southern Dynasty Song Liu Yiqing and others in the "New Language of the World and You Regret" wrote: "Lu Pingyuan (Western Jin Dynasty literary scholar Lu Ji) was defeated at the river bridge, and Lu Zhi was slandered and cursed. Sigh of punishment: If you want to smell the cranes of Huating, you can get it back! Therefore, the descendants of Wing He often mentioned "Hua Ting".

It seems that Liu Taibo gave the poet only one crane and no companion, so he said that he missed the "going companion" of Huating, who was thousands of miles away. "Huating" is related to cranes, and "Wanli" is purely for the purpose of fighting against the "millennium" in the next sentence, and there is no need to delve into it. The "millennium" sentence says that this crane is the embodiment of Ding Lingwei in Liaodong Province, and although he has been away from home for a thousand years, he still recognizes the way home. The second sentence is concisely cut, and the battle is stable, but it is only a wing crane, which seems to have no deep meaning.

"Flock and place", that is, getting along with the flock of chickens. Flock of chickens refers to the mediocre multitude. Jin Dai Kui's "Treatise on the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Forest" says: "Ji Shao entered Luo, or Wang Rong Yue: Yesterday I first saw Ji Shao among the thick people, and the wild cranes were in the flock." The whole of this "Treatise" has now been scattered, and the quotations quoted here are recorded from the Crane on the "Crane" in the "Gathering of Art and Literature" volume 90 of the "Gathering of Art and Literature" by Tang Ouyang And others.

"Zeng", read "zeng". The role in this sentence is mainly to strengthen the tone.

"Penglu", the trajectory of the roc bird flying in the air. Metaphor refers to the path of mastery.

"Who says", who said.

The neck link "The flock and the place have not been humiliated, and the Penglu will be honored", and the literal is still "Wing He". Unlike the previous one, it involved two other birds as a frame of reference for cranes. "Crane" and "chicken" are inversely proportional; "crane" and "peng" are directly proportional - the road of Pengfei, the crane also flies. Second, it is no longer just a "wing crane", but a "borrowing of the crane's words", saying that it has a basic attitude towards the smooth and unsmooth career: When the career is not smooth, it is in the company of mediocre colleagues and does not think that it is "insulting"; once the career is mastered, it can spread its wings and fly high, and it is not considered "honorable". There is me in the poem, and there are things and people—these two sentences are written more wonderfully and meaningfully than the first two sentences.

On the surface, the so-called "Realm of Honor and Disgrace" ("Inner Chapter, Getaway"), "Not Rongtong, Not Ugly and Poor" ("Outer Chapter, Heaven and Earth", which is not proud of being able to attain it, and not ashamed of being poor), is also somewhat similar - but it is only superficially similar, and from the bones, the Confucian self-cultivation and family rule of the country and the world is his real life choice.
