"Zhu" (zhu4), which is a synaesthetic word.

The word "zhu" in the oracle bone is written in many different ways, one is composed of "show" + a person kneeling against the "show", which represents the offering table where the offerings are placed during the sacrifice or the stone pillar or the god of the ancestral liezong during the sacrifice. The kneeling man recites words to the mouth of the "show", communicates with the gods of heaven, and prays for peace and blessings.

The other is a person kneeling on the ground with his hands raised in front of the "丅" (synonymous with "show"), chanting words in his mouth, and bowing to the form of worship. Another said: The word "zhu" is composed of "show" + "brother", and "brother" is the word "exchange" omitting the shape of the "eight" above. The I Ching says: "The "hui" 卦 can represent the "mouth" and represent the "witch".

The "Zhu" character in the Jin script, the glyph in the early Zhou Dynasty inherits the oracle bone glyph, and the kneeling human figure in the "Zhu" character in the middle of the Zhou Dynasty and the Warring States period becomes a standing shape.

The small seal inherits the golden glyph, and the line of the lishu is slightly changed on the basis of the small seal glyph, and the letter is written as "zhu".

The original meaning of "blessing" is the person who prays to the gods for blessings during sacrifices. The Commentary on the Interpretation of The Text explains: "Blessings, the one who praises the Lord." Pray to the gods for blessings. Book of Han. Chun Yu Jie (kun1) biography: Seeing that there is a field by the road (rang 2), a porpoise (tun 2) hoof, a cup of wine, wishing: 'The urn is full of bonfires, the filth is full of cars, the grains are ripe, and the house is full of grains'. (It means to use a pig's trotter and a glass of wine to make a feast for grain, overflowing the barn, and filling the house with luxury.) )

"Blessing" refers specifically to the person who presides over the chanting of the ceremony during the sacrifice. For example, "Witch Blessing". Later, it also referred to the people who were incense sticks in the temple. For example, "temple blessing".

The rising meaning of "wishing" refers to the heartfelt expression of good wishes. For example, "celebrate", "congratulations", etc.
