I believe that everyone knows by looking at the title that the model we are going to introduce today is the destroyer 05 from the BYD Ocean Network warship series. In fact, in 2019 and 2020, people still have prejudices about plug-in hybrid technology, believing that this technology is relatively chicken and belongs to transitional products. However, turning over the sales list in February 2022, BYD's PHEV model sales list, the wave of plug-and-mix is coming, through the Song PLUS DM-i, Qin PLUS DM-i and other models to accumulate word of mouth and sales, consumers against BYD hybrid technology recognition gradually increased. It can be said that it is BYD's plug-in hybrid technology that has changed many people's perception of such models, and BYD's new generation of DM-i technology has achieved the level of leading the industry.
Destroyer 05 will be officially listed on March 17, and the official price range is about 120,000-150,000 yuan. Part I: Driving Experience
The Destroyer 05 is actually no different from the EV model, but unlike most of the ev or hybrid models of the same class, the Destroyer 05 has excellent power response, but it is not "violent" and gives people a very gentle feeling. It sounds more like it's for Buddhist drivers, but the car's acceleration experience and overtaking ability at high speeds have performed well, and the overall feeling of the power system is still a lot of surprises.
The chassis performance of the destroyer is not outstanding, and it can only be said to be decent. The highlight is that the vehicle's steering performance is excellent, the steering damping and response are excellent, and the vehicle's NVH performance is very good, comparable to some luxury brand models.

Unlike Dynasty Network, Ocean Network will pay more attention to rejuvenation in terms of design and other aspects. Compared with the previous dolphins, ocean net models have added more rounded lines to make them look more vibrant.
Personally, I think the Destroyer 05 can introduce more low-saturation or more vivid interior and exterior colors to attract young consumers. Since it is aimed at young consumers, it should reflect more differentiation from Dynasty Network in terms of design, which is the part of destroyer 05 that needs to be improved.

DM-i technology has indeed achieved a certain benefit, but at the same time we have also put forward certain requirements for the destroyer 05, can it have a good space performance like the fuel family car launched by other major domestic manufacturers? The space performance of the destroyer 05 is not outstanding, and the sitting comfort of the rear seats is average. At the same time, the destroyer 05 has more storage space, but the door panel storage compartment is smaller, and the space performance of the luggage compartment is not outstanding.

Through the test drive experience of the Destroyer 05, I found that the origin of DM-i is not only low cost, smooth power output and good NVH performance can make the experiencer feel good about this technology and this model.
