Recently, Aika Auto obtained a set of photos of the exterior and interior of Dongfeng Citroen's new Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS from a social platform. According to the information previously obtained, the new Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS will be officially released at the Beijing Auto Show in April and launched in August this year.
Combined with the pictures exposed this time, the new domestic Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS is basically consistent with the previously released overseas version of the model, the new Chinese network style, from the split to the overall new style headlights, LED light strips through the front of the car, the new LED tail lights have been introduced into the domestic version of the model.
In terms of interior, the new domestic Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS is also basically consistent with overseas, flat-bottom steering wheel, irregular suspension 10-inch central control screen, full LCD instrument are reflected in the figure, but as with the previously exposed interior spy photos, domestic new cars still follow the old gear style, and overseas models have changed to button design. The new Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS is expected to still be equipped with two engines, 1.6T and 1.8T, the 1.6T engine has a maximum power of 125kW (170 hp) / 5500rpm, and a peak torque of 250Nm/1750-4500rpm; the 1.8T engine has a maximum power of 155kW (211 hp)/5500rpm, a peak torque of 300Nm/1900-4500rpm, and the whole series matches an 8-stop automatic transmission; in addition, Plug-in hybrid models with 1.6T+ dual motors will also be retained.
