Recently, the official map of the Mazda CX-60 was announced.

Since the CX-60 will be based on a new rear-drive platform, its engine compartment is more slender and has obvious rear-drive platform characteristics. This proportion also makes it inherently sporty, and the sides are already very beautiful without complex line embellishments. This is also the consistent tradition of Mazda modeling, using light and shadow between the faces to depict the lines of the sides.
The shape of the rear of the car is very compact, and with the slender taillights, it is also very sporty. Below are four exhaust pipes on both sides, as well as black skid plates.
From the interior, it is more obvious that the CX-60 will try to move closer to luxury brands. Nappa leather and genuine maple panels are mated against each other, and the center console and door panels will be bound using Japan's unique textile binding method, presenting a unique Japanese beauty of elegance and warmth. Admittedly, Mazda's interior texture is indeed more ambitious than most of Ryota's models.
In terms of power, according to previous news, the CX-60 or will launch a variety of versions, including 2.5L plug-in hybrid version, light hybrid version and version equipped with a six-cylinder engine.
At present, it seems that the CX-60 will need a lot of difficulties to enter the Chinese mainland market. If it is imported directly, the price should be very expensive, close to the domestic BBA, and there are only a few people who will buy it. If it is domestically produced, it is necessary to add a new production line of the rear-drive platform, which is also a big expense for the long horse. So, I'm personally pessimistic about the introduction of the CX-60.
The new Volkswagen Bora officially rolled off the production line
It is reported that the first mid-term redesign of FAW-Volkswagen Bora (Bora PA model) recently rolled off the production line at faw-Volkswagen East China base and is expected to be officially listed within this year. According to the official introduction, in mid-2022, FAW-Volkswagen Qingdao Branch plans to produce more than 300,000 vehicles, and the Bora PA model undertakes nearly half of the production tasks. Up to now, FAW-Volkswagen East China Base has produced 830,000 units of Bora MQB, sold 800,000 units, and the cumulative output value has reached 81 billion yuan.
Judging from the declaration chart, the appearance of the new Bora is closer to the new family design of volkswagen, the shape of the front and rear bumpers has changed significantly, and more black trims have been added to highlight the sense of sports. But personally, I feel that the front bar is a bit complicated, and there is a bit of an awkward feeling of forced change.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4672/1815/1478mm, and a wheelbase of 2688mm. The power is expected to be no different from the cash model.
