China Fortune News Recently, BMW Group announced that its first pure electric four-door sedan, the Innovation BMW i4, was officially listed in China. The new car is available in two models, the i4 eDrive 40 and i4 M50, priced at 449,900 yuan and 539,900 yuan, respectively.

BMW i4 has been included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's "Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempted from Vehicle Purchase Tax", and can enjoy full purchase tax exemption and local new energy vehicle related support policies nationwide.

The BMW i4 is based on the CLAR pure electric platform. The BMW i4 eDrive 40 model is rear-wheel drive with a maximum power of 250 kW, a peak torque of 430 N·m, a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.7 seconds, and a CLTC range of 625 km/ h. The BMW i4 M50 model is equipped with dual-excitation synchronous motors (front and rear axles), all-wheel drive, maximum power of 400 kW, peak torque of up to 795 N·m, acceleration time of 0-100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, CLTC range of 560 km/ h.

The BMW i4 M50 is the first pure electric model tuned by bmw M, the suspension front and rear axles are supported by reinforced parts and unique reinforcement bars, and equipped with M adaptive suspension, front and rear M braking system, all-wheel drive force control ARB-X, variable sport steering, and rear axle air suspension, taking into account comfort and movement.
