Recently, according to relevant media reports, the Xiaopeng G9 model will open pre-sale at the Beijing Auto Show held in April 2022 and is expected to start delivery in the third quarter of 2022. Previously, this model has made its debut at last year's Guangzhou Auto Show, and the specific price of the vehicle was not announced at the time of the debut, if the pre-sale news is reliable, then the pre-price of this model will also be revealed when the Beijing Auto Show opens.
The overall appearance of the new car follows the main elements of the very successful Xiaopeng P7, and the front face of the family X Robot Face is very recognizable. The two sides of the through-line day running lamp have added a new iconic design, like two very sharp eyes. Dual lidar is perfectly integrated into the headlight design, coupled with the daily running lights echoing the Xiaopeng LOGO, majestic and full of technology.
On the side of the body, a horizontal high-waist line runs through the body, making the golden ratio of the whole vehicle in the longitudinal direction. At the same time, the slender lid, short front suspension, long rear suspension, and 21-inch large wheels together create a yacht-like elegance and luxury.
The rear of the car adopts a more traditional shape, not as recognizable as the P7, but the through-type taillights still appear on the G9, and the overall shape is stable.
In terms of electrical and electronic architecture, Xiaopeng G9 adopts X-EEA 3.0 electronic and electrical architecture using a high-fusion hardware architecture with central supercomputing + area control, which can be equipped with a higher performance chip to support higher-level intelligent assisted driving and a more powerful intelligent cockpit, and Xiaopeng G9 will therefore become the first mass production vehicle to support the XPILOT 4.0 intelligent auxiliary driving system.
In addition, the Xiaopeng G9 is also equipped with XPower 3.0 power system, which is the first mass production vehicle based on the 800V high-voltage SiC platform in China, and will achieve overcharging for 5min and the ability to replenish more than 200km in the future. At the same time, the maximum efficiency of the electric drive system can reach more than 95%. In order to give full play to the advantages of the 800V platform's supercharge technology, Xiaopeng Automobile will also lay the first batch of 480kW high-voltage supercharged piles produced in China to fully release the energy replenishment efficiency.
