In 1962, Maslow and a number of other humanistic psychologists, including Rogers, founded the American Society for Humanistic Psychology. Subsequently, together with Goldstein, Allport, Fromm, Rogers and other famous psychologists, he founded the Society of Humanistic Psychology. Their aim is to emphasize the innate nature of man, to try to prove his personality and the ability to continue to develop, and people are often asked to realize their full potential or needs. This is the basic idea of Maslow's theory of self-actualization.
