From the spy photo, the Type 132 is positioned as a coupe SUV, using a new design language, and the use of active grille design, coupled with low body shape, effectively reduce air resistance. At the same time, the L-type daytime running lights also increase the recognition of new cars.
Interior, the overall design of the new car is very similar to the Krypton 001, and the suspended central control screen and exquisite shift lever add a lot of texture to the vehicle. In terms of batteries, the Lotus TYPE 132 will be equipped with a 92-120kWh battery pack and an 800V high-voltage charging system, which takes only 20 minutes to charge to 80%. The specific power parameters of the car have not yet been known, and the acceleration time of 0-96km/h is expected to be controlled at about 3 seconds.
By 2026, Lotus will launch four new models, including an electric SUV codenamed TYPE 132 in 2022; an electric four-door coupe codenamed TYPE 133 in 2023; a new all-electric model codenamed TYPE 134 to be launched in 2025; and a new pure electric sports car code-named TYPE 135 to be launched in 2026.
