Lamborghini Revuelto world premiere family supercar flagship/equipped with V12 plug-in hybrid power

On March 29, Lamborghini Revuelto made its world premiere, the car is a new flagship supercar product after Aventador, the biggest highlight is the first equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 plug-in hybrid power system, the total power of the system is 1015 horsepower, with a motor-driven four-wheel drive system, and pure electric driving ability.

As Lamborghini's latest flagship supercar product, let's take a look at its power parameters, 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 2.5 seconds, 0-200 km/h acceleration time within 7 seconds, top speed of more than 350 km/h, can perfectly meet the needs of daily driving and track galloping.

Regarding the naming of the new car, by the way, we also mentioned that as early as mid-2022, we saw that Lamborghini registered the "Revuelto" trademark, which was thought to be for the future new pure electric sports car, and now the mystery has finally been revealed, it was originally used for this new flagship hybrid supercar product.

Revuelto adopts a typical Lamborghini design, the wedge-shaped body has the typical proportions of a mid-mounted four-wheel drive sports car, and the sharp body shape makes it look like a spaceship parked on the ground, the car still adopts the usual elements of the Lamborghini V12 sports car, vertically opened scissor doors.

The Lamborghini Revuelto features the latest carbon ceramic braking system with 410x38mm front discs and 390x32mm rear, surpassing the Aventador LP780-4 Ultimae, while adopting a front 10-piston/rear 4-piston caliper combination.

In addition, in order to bring deeper memory and recognition to everyone, the Lamborghini Revuelto also adopts a "Y" shaped headlamp and taillight design, the front hatch has a striking muscle line, the bare rear V12 engine is unforgettable under the LED light source, and the twin exhaust pipes in the center of the tail indicate powerful performance.

The Lamborghini Revuelto has achieved a new level of aerodynamics and offers greater efficiency and downforce, with the help of an electronic control system that adjusts the working condition of the rear wing and suspension system to the conditions of the race.

The highlight of the Lamborghini LB744 body design is the aeronautics-inspired monocoque carbon fiber composite body, known as "monofuselage", which is the first supercar to be completely made of Forged Composites as a front structure, which not only improves body strength and torsional rigidity, but also significantly reduces weight compared to the Aventador.

In terms of key figures, the Lamborghini LB744's carbon fibre composite body weight is 10% lighter than Aventador's, the front structure is 20% lighter than Aventador's aluminum alloy structure, and the torsional rigidity of 40,000 Nm/° is also 25% higher than that of Aventador, contributing to further dynamic performance.

Revuelto's interior still shows a large number of "aircraft" style design elements, in the intelligent era, Lamborghini also keeps pace with the times, with a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster, an 8.4-inch disposal touch screen and a 9.1-inch display in front of the co-pilot, further improving human-computer interaction capabilities, and has a new vehicle system, providing navigation, voice control, OTA, remote control (Unica app) and other mainstream functions.

In terms of interior materials, Revuelto is also actively maintaining the tradition of Lamborghini, with high-grade materials such as leather, suede microfiber, and carbon fiber decorative panels. It should be noted that Lamborghini can also be customized in 400 body colors, as well as 70 interior colors to choose from.

Although the seating space performance is not worth mentioning for this supercar product, in the case of Revuelto, it has 26mm more headroom than the Aventador Ultimae and 84mm more legroom, which is also an improvement.

In addition, Revuelto integrates feature-rich advanced driver assistance systems with high-tech driver assistance systems such as Active Lane Departure Warning (ALDW), Adaptive Cruise (ACC), Lane Departure Warning (LCW), and Reverse Warning (RCTA).

In terms of power system, the biggest highlight of Revuelto is equipped with a 6.5-liter V12 plug-in hybrid power system, high-power lithium battery is located in the center of the chassis, the new 6.5-liter V12 engine is the lightest and most powerful V12 engine Lamborghini has ever seen, with a speed of up to 9500 rpm, and has been fully optimized for the intake and combustion system, with a compression ratio of up to 12.6:1.

The new 6.5-litre V12 engine, code-named L545, weighs just 218 kg, 17 kg less than the Aventador engine. Compared to the Aventador, the Revuelto's engine layout is rotated 180 degrees.

For the new 6.5-litre V12 engine, after a comprehensive upgrade of Lamborghini, it not only obtains lighter weight, stronger performance, but also continues to maintain the passionate sound characteristic of Lamborghini engines, providing both mental and sensory pleasure for the owner.

The all-wheel drive system is also known to be a tradition of Lamborghini, with the Revuelto powered by dual motors at the front axle and the rear axle powered by a 6.5-litre V12 engine, while an electric motor located above an eight-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox is also powered.

Among them, the 6.5-liter V12 engine has a power of 825 hp (9500 rpm) and a torque of 725 Nm (6750 rpm), the engine has a liter power of 128 hp/l, reaching the highest value in the history of a Lamborghini 12-cylinder engine, the front motor torque is 350 Nm, and the total system power is 1015 hp.

Lamborghini Revuelto offers three new dedicated driving modes, Recharge, Hybrid and Performance, while can be combined with Città (City), Strada, Sport and Corsa driving modes, offering 13 dynamic settings depending on the road condition.

With the help of the Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo 2.0 system, each wheel can get enough grip, and the electronic torque vectoring control system will work synchronously with the all-wheel drive system to precisely distribute power to each wheel, thereby improving the cornering performance.
