According to Skyworth Automobile official micro revealed, on February 7, Skyworth Automobile and various business units gathered at Kaiwo Group to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony, Skyworth Group, Skyworth Automobile founder Huang Hongsheng and the relevant responsible persons of the company attended, at this groundbreaking ceremony, Skyworth Automobile announced the goal of this year: to achieve domestic and foreign channels double power, annual sales of 30,000 units, cumulative sales of more than 4.5 billion yuan; to achieve 600km endurance model in the first quarter of batch delivery, 1200km Skyworth intelligent mixed system model in the third quarter of mass delivery The future-oriented high-end model CE11 project completed the styling development work.
On April 27, 2021, Skyworth announced that it will change its name to Skyworth Automobile, using the English name "Skyworth", thus starting the road of "car building". After Tianmei Automobile changed its name to Skyworth Automobile, Tianmei ET5, the first model of Tianmei, was also renamed Skyworth ET5, which was later renamed Skyworth EV6, and updated and optimized the model configuration and power battery.
On July 27 last year, the revamped Skyworth EV6 was launched, positioned as a medium-sized smart pure electric SUV, priced at 165,800-249,800 yuan. Skyworth EV6 full vehicle size 4698 * 1908 * 1696mm, wheelbase 2800mm, equipped with L2.5 level automatic driving assistance system and Skylink intelligent network system, and equipped with panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate and so on.
Skyworth EV6 is currently on sale with four different models, namely the travel version (410km), the standard version (520km), the smart version (520km), the PRO version (520km), and the 1200km Skyworth intelligent hybrid system model will be launched during the year.
However, due to its popularity and product strength, the market response of this car is not eye-catching. According to the news released by Skyworth, Skyworth Automobile's delivery volume hit a new high in December last year, with 3409 global deliveries in a single month, of which 1893 were delivered domestically and 1516 overseas.
At the same time, Skyworth Automobile is also expanding its sales network nationwide. At present, the number of Skyworth automobile experience centers in China has reached 158.
And is using the partnership model in many parts of the country to recruit dealers, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou, Wenzhou, Jinhua, Jiaxing, Shaoxing and other places in Zhejiang Province are among the recruiting cities. At present, Zhejiang Province has established sales outlets in Hangzhou, Ningbo, Jinhua, Taizhou and other cities, and there is a Skyworth Automobile Experience Center in Hangzhou Shangcheng District and Linping District. Not many people know, though.
According to skyworth automobile's official website, in terms of dealer settings, skyworth automobile will adhere to the investment principle of "low investment and fast return", set up a variety of new retail models such as city showroom + shopping mall, and at the same time lay out online and offline multi-channel layout, open up market + sales + service + operation data, and build a service system for the whole life cycle of customers.
From the perspective of goals and new car plans, only Skyworth EV6 is still supporting Skyworth Automobile to achieve its goals this year, but it will add two long-endurance versions. With the endurance of 600 kilometers of pure electricity and 1200 hybrids, it is not very competitive in the current new energy vehicle market.
Of course, for Skyworth, which has just entered the automotive industry, it is obviously very optimistic about the growth of the domestic new energy passenger car market. In 2021, the rapid development of new energy passenger vehicles in China, the sales of new energy passenger vehicles reached 3.312 million units, an increase of 181% year-on-year.
