Recently, Jaguar officially announced that it will launch a series of new pure electric models in 2025, and these new cars will be based on a new electric vehicle platform.
Jaguar brand CFO Adrain.Mardell revealed earlier this week in a conference call for investors that the new electric vehicle platform, called Panthera, will not only accelerate the electrification of the entire brand, but also build models based on the platform that are expected to compete with Aston Martin and Bentley for the top luxury car market.
In order to achieve this goal, Jaguar must create a new and exclusive electric vehicle platform, an exclusive architecture that helps to achieve the established goals of the model development team and build the model that best suits the brand positioning.

Thanks to this, Jaguar's future products will become more unique, according to brand CEO Thierry Bellore revealed at the same meeting, Jaguar brand's future new cars will be "different" and "without any homogenization", and the overall design of these cars will not pay tribute to any historical classics.
In addition, according to the overall brand plan, after the launch of the new Panthera electric platform, Jaguar will officially transform into an electric vehicle brand in 2025. To this end, the company will invest £2.5 billion in electrification of the brand.
