The agency announced the 2022 U.S. Brand Value List: a total value of $4.77 trillion Apple first

Brand Finance, the UK's brand evaluation agency, has released its "2022 TOP 500 US Brand Value" list (US 500 2022). Apple, Amazon, and Google won the top three. Also in the top ten are Microsoft, Walmart, Facebook, Verizon, Disney, Home Depot and AT&T.

The total value of the top 500 U.S. brands in 2022 was $4,770.1 billion. Among them, 74 technology brands were on the list, worth $1,409 billion, accounting for 29.5%; 39 retail brands were on the list, worth $827.7 billion, accounting for 17.4%; 31 bank brands were on the list, worth $305 billion, accounting for 6.4%; 29 media brands were on the list, worth 234.5 billion US dollars, accounting for 4.9%; 30 commercial service brands were on the list, worth 229.1 billion US dollars, accounting for 4.8%; 7 telecom brands were on the list, worth 182 billion US dollars. Accounted for 3.8%.

Brand Finance uses the royalty relief method to calculate brand value. Brand value can be understood as the net economic benefit that a brand owner receives by licensing the brand on the open market.
