Microsoft Win11 brand new style Media Player Player Beta version released

IT House February 5 news, last November, Microsoft announced that it will use the Windows 11 Media Player media player to replace Groove Music music. The change was first made available to Windows 11 Dev Dev Channel users, but now the company is expanding its availability to include beta channel insiders.

Recently, Microsoft made a minor update to its blog about Windows 11 Media Player, saying that the new media player app is now being rolled out to Windows 11 Beta channel test users. It's worth noting, however, that it's not a replacement for existing Film and Tv apps. In other words, the Movies & TV app will still be able to stream content you buy through the Microsoft Store.

At the same time, the new Media Player media player app will include a full-featured music library that allows you to quickly browse and play music, as well as create and manage playlists. It also has a dedicated playback view with album art and rich artist images, full-screen and mini player options, and a graphic equalizer. In addition, the media player includes full support for browsing, managing, and watching local video sets.

If you're an active user of the Groove Music app, you don't have to worry about this change, as your music collection in that app will automatically migrate to this new Media Player app. The design of the new app also aligns with the design of Windows 11.

If you're a beta tester, you can go to the Microsoft Store to check for updates to get the new Windows 11 Media Player app. Once you install the new app, it will replace the Groove Music app.
