The WHEELBASE of the CE-04 is very long, and the rear wheels are almost entirely on the outside of the body, so it is quite recognizable. Don't worry about the long wheelbase affecting the agility because of its low center of gravity and BMW equipping it with a reversing function.
The storage space was a big bonus
Why the storage space of the CE-04 is a highlight is not because of how big the storage space is, but because of its unique location and opening method. After opening the panel on the side of the body, it can accommodate a full helmet, and it can have such a large seat space, which actually has a lot to do with the layout of the interior.
Because the modular battery pack from the BMW iX electric car is located at the bottom of the flat floor, and all the electronic equipment is a little behind, there is enough space under the seat to be vacant. The layout of the mid-mounted motor is belt driven, and the under-spring mass of the rear suspension of this design is greatly reduced compared to conventional scooters.

The battery life is still a hard injury
The CE-04 is equipped with a water-cooled permanent magnet motor, the maximum horsepower is 42 horses, the maximum torque is 45.7 pounds-feet, and the acceleration time of 0-50km/h is only 2.6 seconds.
BMW claims that the CE-04 has a cruising range of 130 km, a maximum speed of 120 km/h, and a total range of up to 110 km after comprehensive testing, which is completely achievable for normal riding, but this endurance can be achieved by many ordinary electric vehicles, and there are really no highlights to speak of. The 8.9kWh battery uses fast charging, which can be charged from zero to 80% in 1 hour and 5 minutes, the included standard charger takes 4 hours and 20 minutes to charge the battery from 0 to 100%, and a 110V, 15A home power supply takes nearly 6 hours to fully charge.
Prices remain on the high side
Ce-04 starts at 12,150 euros in Europe, equivalent to around 86,000 yuan, and is not much cheaper than the original C-EVO (15,000 euros). It is foreseeable that if CE-04 is introduced to the domestic market, the price will inevitably exceed 100,000. It should be noted that the optional fast charging bag also requires an additional 1,240 euros (0.88 million).
Looking at the world, there is no shortage of high-end electric motorcycles, but without exception the price is much higher than the same level of fuel motorcycles, and even in developed countries in Europe and the United States, the relevant supporting facilities are still not perfect, plus the battery life can not make a breakthrough, so the development constraints of high-performance electric motorcycles are too large. In the domestic market, not to mention, high-end electric motorcycles are almost only released without seeing cars, and it will inevitably be the world of electric motorcycles in the future, but it will not be now.
