Zu Qijie, Vice President, Chief Engineer and President of SAIC Innovation Research and Development Institute, said: In the next two years, the seven major technology bases 2.0 will fully empower SAIC's vehicle brands, launch nearly 30 new models, and accelerate the comprehensive evolution of scientific and technological lifeforms.

SAIC's seven major technology bases include the exclusive serialization platform of Nebula pure electric vehicle, the mechatronics vehicle architecture of Everest, the integrated vehicle architecture of Galaxy electric and hydrogen, the blue-core hybrid system, the green-core electric drive system, the Rubik's Cube battery system and the Galaxy full-stack intelligent vehicle solution, which fully empowers Zhiji, Feifan, Roewe, MG, Maxus and overseas businesses.

In the field of intelligent driving, SAIC Motor did not adopt Huawei's smart car and Hi mode, but developed its own full-stack solution for smart cars. Chen Hong, chairman of SAIC, once said: "It is difficult for us to accept that there is a company that provides us with an overall autonomous driving solution, which is equivalent to it (Huawei) is the soul, I am the body, and this soul must be in my own hands."

The Nebulas platform achieves a wider range of model gradients, lower vehicle power consumption, and a safer and more reliable experience, covering the luxury car, mid-level car and entry-level car markets, with a comprehensive range of up to 1,000km; The Everest architecture achieves full coverage from engine-driven to motor-driven, with a maximum oil-to-electricity conversion efficiency of more than 3.75kWh/L, making it the first Chinese car company to achieve carbon emissions of less than 100g/km in Europe. The blue-core hybrid system has the characteristics of modularization, integration and exclusivity, and the system efficiency is increased by 10%.

The mass of the green core system assembly is 85kg, the effective power density > 9.5kW/kg, and the system power density is increased to 4.4kW/kg, with stronger performance; The Rubik's Cube battery system has the advantages of higher energy density, better safety performance, wider application range and lower material cost.

The products of the ZeroBeam Galaxy smart car include the full-stack solution 3+1 of the ZeroBeam Galaxy smart car, the electronic architecture of the ZeroBeam Galaxy smart car, the OTA of the Zerobeam Galaxy smart car, the L3 architecture of the Zerobeam Galaxy smart car, and the mobile phone ecosystem of the ZeroBeam Galaxy, which has the advantages of great safety, growth and comfort. The full-stack solution 3.0 of "central computing + regional control" for smart vehicles will be fully implemented in 2025, realizing the integration of the four domains of "cabin, driving, computing, and connectivity", and supporting L3 mass production autonomous driving.

Solid-state batteries are the next generation of disruptive battery technology with higher energy density, higher safety, and more cost-effectiveness. SAIC Motor will realize the "three-step" strategy and accelerate the mass production and installation of all-solid-state batteries, and SAIC Qingtao's first all-solid-state battery mass production line will be completed by the end of 2025.
