According to the equity penetration of Qichacha, the company is jointly held by Xiaomi Automotive Technology Co., Ltd., CATL New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., BAIC Hailanxin Energy Technology, Beijing Jingneng Technology Co., Ltd., etc. It is reported that the company will build a battery cell factory in order to provide a stable supply of batteries and cells for Xiaomi cars.
According to relevant reports, among the four companies, CATL holds 51% of the shares, BAIC Blue Ocean Core holds 39% of the shares, and Xiaomi Auto and Jingneng Technology each hold 5% of the shares. The newly established Beijing Times Power Battery Company will invest in the construction of a battery cell factory in Beijing and further enhance the independent research and development and production capacity of batteries.
In March this year, BAIC Blue Valley issued an announcement, saying that it plans to jointly invest in a design platform company with BAIC Industrial Investment and Beijing Hainachuan, and use the platform company as the main body of investment, and jointly invest with CATL, Xiaomi Automobile, and Jingneng Technology to establish Beijing Times Power Battery Company. In the announcement, BAIC Blue Valley also said that this investment is conducive to ensuring the stable supply of the company's power batteries, and promoting the priority of new power battery products and new technologies in the company's vehicle products.
