According to the list of winners of the 8th Fujian Arts Festival released by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the two plays selected by our county, "Ode to Huinu" and the puppet play "Huang Jiguang", won the "Repertoire Award" (second prize) of the Provincial Arts Festival. Among them, "Ode to Huinu" created a historic breakthrough in the group category awards of Gaojia Opera in the Provincial Arts Festival in our county, and the group awards of puppet theater in the Provincial Arts Festival were "opened twice" in 71 years. In addition to the group awards, the two plays have won a total of 12 individual awards in composition, performance, screenwriting, directing and other projects, respectively, 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 6 third prizes.
"Ode to the Lady of Hui"
"Ode to Huinu" takes "Huinu Reservoir" as the background of creation, telling the story of the early liberation period, the Hui'an County Party Committee and County Government called on the whole people to build a large reservoir in Wutan in order to relieve the suffering of the people in ten years and nine droughts. In this vigorous project construction, under the leadership of the party, the huinu represented by Aju united as one, overcame various difficulties, took the initiative to complete the arduous tasks of pioneering, digging mountains and stones, and bulldozing rammed dams, and reproduced the magnificent poem of "Ten Thousand Female Locks and Dragons" with full passion. The repertoire uses the artistic techniques of modern drama to vividly present the characteristics of "gaojia ugly" on the stage, and successfully shapes the image of a hard-working, brave and optimistic, funny and witty huinu.
"Huang Jiguang"
"Huang Jiguang" tells that during the period of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Huang Jiguang responded to the national conscription and actively participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and he was incorporated into the 6th Company as a messenger, often crossing the line of fire in the rain of bullets and bullets, transmitting messages and materials for the battle. In the Battle of Shangganling, the 6th Company was almost completely destroyed, and at a critical juncture, Huang Jiguang volunteered to fight, led his comrades Wu Sanyang and Xiao Dengliang to charge, and finally blocked the enemy's gunfire with his own body to win the battle, but he died heroically. The play innovates in music design, performing arts, etc., such as forehand flips, side flips, backhand flips, doubles, three-person fights and other techniques that appear in the play to fully demonstrate the art performance skills of palm puppets.
The Fujian Arts Festival and the Provincial Drama Festival are the highest standard competitions in the field of Fujian drama. Since the start of the preparatory work for the festival, the Hui'an County Party Committee and County Government have attached great importance to it, allocated special funds for the creation and rehearsal of the play, organized special studies and discussions on the design of the script plot and the creation of audio-visual projects for many times, and invited the well-known domestic drama expert Ying Hui to hold a script seminar, and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions on the plot, character shaping, drama language, key scenes, core singing segments and other aspects. At the same time, the two plays have also received widespread attention and full support from all walks of life in the creative process.
Some drama experts and folk artists not only provide in-depth guidance on the rehearsal work, but also participate in the rehearsal work regardless of salary and enthusiasm, and take the initiative to ask Miao to play a role or be responsible for dubbing. In view of the new requirements of the combination of "stage drama dance" and "high-grade drama performance" required by the new script, some old actors took the initiative to overcome professional inertia, willing to be "primary school students", humbly ask experts for advice, seriously pondered, rehearsed hard, and created the main roles such as "Aju". It is worth mentioning that relying on the in-depth implementation of the county's talent "Harbor Plan", the Hui'an Cultural Tourism Talent Training Project - Quanzhou Art School Hui'an Gaojia Opera Talent Class showed the initial results of Hui'an Literary and Artistic Reserve Talent Training in this activity stage. Many characters in the play boldly choose high-grade rookies, and these high-A juniors actively participate in the rehearsal work of the performance, one action, one expression, one line repeated training, hard work, and successfully perform important roles such as "Little Girl".
