After receiving the order, the company commander Wan Fulai looked at the few soldiers who were already left, and his heart was full of grief, but the task had to be completed, "even if the whole company was destroyed, it would have to rush." So Wan Fulai asked in pain who was going to go up together. At this moment, Huang Jiguang took the lead in opening his mouth:

This day is October 20, 1952, and the 21-year-old Huang Jiguang has frozen his life forever at the age of 21.
On February 26, 1953, the hero's body was returned to the motherland and buried in the Shenyang Ke every moment martyrs' cemetery.
