Founded in 2008, Tao Body Theater is a full-time modern dance company co-founded by Tao Ye, Duan Ni and Wang Hao. In the past 12 years, the company has appeared on the stage of hundreds of festivals in more than 40 countries around the world, including the Lincoln Arts Center Festival in the United States, the Edinburgh International Arts Festival in the United Kingdom, the Sydney Opera House in Australia and the City Theatre in Paris, France, touring five continents. The famous dancer Lin Huaimin once said that the modern dance company in mainland China that he most admires is tao body.
