In terms of power, because of the P2.5 structure limitations, the drive motor of Jiaji PHEV is less than that of Song MAX DM-i in terms of power and torque; but at the same time, because of the advantages of the P2.5 architecture, when the owner needs rapid power, the energy of its hybrid output is not weaker than that of the DM-i system, and the maximum hybrid output power of 190 kilowatts and the mixed output torque of up to 415 Nm are enough to support the smooth acceleration experience of Jiaji PHEV.
In other words, BYD Song MAX DM-i in the city road conditions, performance more like a pure electric model, hybrid is only its means to save fuel consumption, reduce endurance anxiety; and Geely's Jiaji PEHV, in any working conditions, is more like a pure hybrid model, you do not have to deliberately care about fuel consumption, it can always give you a smooth experience of fuel vehicles, and fuel consumption is not high, as long as you have charging conditions, the more charged, the lower the fuel consumption.

Compared with space and power, as a nanny car for families with babies, safety is also the top priority of purchase.
Under the existing passive safety conditions, it is difficult to say that there will be qualitative differences in the safety of the body structure between the two cars, and even the performance of the airbags on the books is not much different, and the airbag protection is basically achieved in all directions.
The only core difference is the proactive security level.
First of all, Jiaji PHEV, which adopts the geely brand's universal automatic assisted driving solution, has reached the L2+ level capability, has the core functions of intelligent pilot driving, urban pre-collision safety, etc., and the autopilot assistance of the commercially praised Geely car series, Lynk & Co, Volvo, Pole Star and other brand models is at the same level of performance, which is very safe and very reassuring.
The only fly in the ointment is the lack of an automatic parking function, which may be almost interesting for the mothers who carry their babies alone.
Of course, bydir Song MAX DM-i also does not have automatic parking function, so there is no need to compare who is good and who is broken.
In terms of automatic driving assistance, although BYD Song MAX DM-i's autopilot assistance system has also reached the level of L2, it is still slightly different from the actual performance of Jiaji PHEV. Although the core full-speed domain ACC, lane centering and other functions are available, but in our previous test drive, there are still some flaws, to see if BYD has the possibility of OTA continued optimization in the later stage.
However, BYD's intelligence is not so lost to Geely. In fact, in terms of vehicle intelligence, BYD's Dlink system is currently almost the head benchmark level of domestic brands, and it performs better in terms of system response speed, voice recognition control capabilities, expansion of application stores, and playability of car machines.
Therefore, in terms of intelligence, the two cars are also equal in the strict sense, BETTER THAN BYD's in-car intelligence, and Geely's automatic driving assistance performance is better.
Therefore, in the final car purchase suggestion, we believe that consumers can stand on their own actual needs to choose, if more attention is paid to intelligent driving for the improvement of safety, Geely Jiaji PHEV is a better choice. Conversely, if you trust your driving skills enough and prefer low fuel consumption and low cost, BYD Song MAX DM-i is a better choice.
