On March 13, I had a serious car accident on the Linxiang-Yueyang Expressway section of Hunan Province because I turned on intelligent assisted driving, and the fixed speed of 80 directly hit the stationary vehicle that overturned in front of me, and the vehicle did not slow down, collision warning prompt or emergency braking signs before the impact.

I was too late to intervene in the brakes when I found that the driver assistance function was malfunctioning. Fortunately, the other driver was not in the car when the collision ahead, the accident did not cause death, and I was only slightly injured.

After the accident, I contacted the official customer service for the first time, explained the situation, and also reported the insurance to send the car to the local Wuhan Optics Valley Maintenance Center for testing and requesting assistance in investigation, hoping to get the driving data at that time and the cause of the accident.

Customer service replied that there will be a commissioner to deal with me, but in the next nearly a month, during which a self-proclaimed Xiaopeng after-sales experience specialist said that he was willing to give me a one-year extended warranty after I refused, no one contacted me.

I took the initiative to contact and ask for background data no less than ten times, but I refused to provide it for a long time, only letting me go to the local store to watch. And the local 4s shop staff said that ACC, LCC and other auxiliary driving functions are no different from the cruise control of traditional fuel vehicles, which makes me unable to accept! I think there is a fatal safety hazard in the assisted driving function!

When I bought a car, I spent nearly 320,000 yuan, I looked at the intelligence and safety of p7, only test drove once, and decided decisively, and the brand promotion at that time was also to do the smart car that understands Chinese roads the most.

The sales student had said at the time that the safety factor of this car was very high, including 3 high-precision millimeter wave radars, 12 ultrasonic sensors, 4 surround view cameras and 1 high-precision camera, which can be said to exceed all other brands in the same level.

And self-developed algorithm, advertising even if encountering a pedestrian vehicle FCW, the AEB function will automatically brake the alarm to ensure driving safety, and when this accident occurred, all the advertised safety functions were not done.

After this incident, my sleep quality was particularly poor, and I often had nightmares, dreaming about the scene at that time, and I was particularly afraid. And I thought about what if there was still someone in the car opposite at that time, because I drove autopilot and killed someone? I can't afford that.

This safety hazard is too serious, and it is necessary to let consumers know this pain point when the vehicle was launched as the selling point of L3 level autonomous driving. Instead of shirking responsibility, let the driver go to the safety book to find the answer.

As a loyal fan of P7, I have been sharing and recommending the test drive to buy Xiaopeng with friends around me before this incident, and after this incident, including operation and maintenance (procrastination, not to be handled), and the attitude of public relations processing (reducing heat, hiring water troops), it is really disappointing to me.

Originally, my appeal was only to upgrade the safety configuration of my vehicle, but I am now requesting to return the car! I don't dare to touch Xiaopeng again.
