The exhibition consists of three chapters.
The first chapter is "Feasting and Storing Gold", which mainly shows the gold and silver utensils used daily by the Song people, including wine utensils, tableware, tea sets, incense utensils, etc., showing the exquisite life of the Song people who "are elegant and ordinary everywhere".
The second chapter, "Blooming Makeup and Flowing Gold", takes the Song Dynasty gold and silver jewelry, the dowry ceremony and the chapter dress ceremony as the main line, telling the Song Dynasty women's pursuit of beauty and luster and their desire for wealth and power.
The third chapter, "Worshiping the Buddha for Gold", shows the Song people's belief in Buddhism and Shuntian through gold and silver artifacts unearthed from the Buddhist temples in Dongyang, Yiwu and Pujiang.
