More than 20 silk color paintings created by artist Zhang Sunzhe in recent years, as well as several conceptual works with material expansion, are exhibited. His research interests delve into the historical and formal issues of Tang and Song dynasty painting. At the same time, Zhang Sunzhe continued to promote his personal creative experiments. He drew nourishment from two ink painting traditions, the classical tradition and the new tradition that has advocated connecting China and the West since the 20th century, and distanced himself from the two. He focuses on the visual cultural changes of today's era, combining the themes with pop sense and ink media to create the dissociative effects and formal tension of the picture. He is also adept at using digital techniques to provide more possibilities for painting experiments. The "Lu Yu Shao Award" National Chinese Painting Exhibition is a professional art activity led by the Zhejiang Academy of Painting and the Zhejiang Provincial Lu Yu Shao Art Research Association as the core academic leadership, and has the academic authority of Chinese painting in the country. The participating authors of this exhibition basically cover the whole country, and the number of recipients has been greatly improved compared with previous editions, which has produced a greater influence in the country. After about half a year of drafts, preliminary evaluation and final evaluation, this exhibition selected 226 shortlisted works from nearly 2,000 entries, including 1 gold award, 3 silver awards, 6 bronze awards and 31 excellence awards.

The exhibition exhibits Mao Zedong's poetry works written by Chen Shutong, He Xiangning, Zhang Zongxiang, Shen Yinmo, Ma Yifu, Guo Moruo, Ma Gongyu, Pan Tianshou, Feng Zikai, Sha Menghai, Zhu Lesan, Lai Chusheng and other famous calligraphers and painters. This batch of ink treasures was selected in 1963 by Fang Jiekan, the first director of the Wenzhou Museum, from calligraphy and painting works collected by famous artists across the country, in order to show the great personality and brilliant thoughts of a generation of heavenly arrogance through the lofty poetry of Mao Zedong.
