【Exhibition Preface】
Founded in 2017, LAIE Little Painters International Art Exhibition is committed to promoting the exchange and display of Chinese young and young artists on the international art stage. Since its establishment, it has successfully curated 30 international art exhibitions in China, Japan, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Finland and New Zealand, and has received wide attention and praise from the society.
In April 2022, the LAIE International Art Exhibition of Little Painters in Rome, in order to help the international artistic development of Chinese young painters and trigger thinking about the current and future way of life, invited Gerardo Lo Russo, former president of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Veronica Piraccini, head of the Visual Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Pierluigi Berto ( Professor of the Department of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome ) Pierluigi Beto), Ferdinando Fedele, Professor of the Department of Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, Cinzia Bevilacqua (Cinzia Bevirque, Young Italian Artist Cecilia Berto), and Chinese Italian Artist Ms. Guo Ce jointly curated the "ART UP" Italian International Art Exhibition, which is divided into two sections, one of which is, Professor of the Academic Section of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. With the theme of "Time and Life", Professor Veronica Piraccini, Head of the Department of Visual Arts of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, gave a 5-minute opening speech and demonstrated his own paintings with dual visual effects "unobservable", and Professor Gerardo Lo Russo, former president of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, exhibited his 1984 printed print book with the cover of the "Space Sculpture" he had designed for 50 years. Professor Ferdinando Fedele of the Department of Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome presented himself through his study of iconography, a new language of art. Three prints have been studied by different print printing methods. The man in the painting is a young philosopher who advocates peace. Pier Luigi Berto, professor of the Department of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, exhibited several paintings that combine material techniques, i.e. the use of ancient paper, traditional European painting tools. And constantly thinking about innovative breakthroughs. The realistic oil paintings of the well-known Italian artist Cizia Bevilacqua depict her niece holding a mirror in which is "Medusa". It expresses the confusion and thinking of young girls about youth. The work of young Italian artist Cecilia Berto draws rich layers of effects with only simple ink and brushes. Dedicated to the study of how emotions can be expressed with lines and symbols. The realistic oil paintings of Chinese Italian artist Ms. Guo Ce are intended to pay tribute to those who insist on learning and loving life regardless of age and time. All the participating professors and artists presented representative works of a very high standard, where different technologies and different media can be seen. It has certain academic discussion value. Second, by the LAIE Small Painters International Art Exhibition in China to collect and select the works of small painters, after the launch of the project, after the Rome curatorial team carefully selected, only 203 works were finally exhibited in Rome, the theme of the work was "future architecture, future city, future natural elements" created, the professors of the Rome Academy of Fine Arts said at the exhibition site: Although the age span is very large, but in the creation of art there is a coincidence of similarities and conceptual collisions, but also to achieve the purpose of this exhibition, Through paintings, a dialogue between generations about the subject of the visual arts and the times in which we live is established.
Compared with previous editions, this art exhibition pays more attention to the "gaze" between the arts and encourages the expression of different artistic personalities.
