In order to provide guests with the best stay experience, Verdura Resort is open every year from April to November, the best time to choose according to the local climate. When I went, it was already the last few days of business, and it was the end of autumn and early winter, which was the best time to feel refreshed.
The hotel is famous for its golf courses, where its two 18-hole championship courses are one of the venues of the European Tour, offering professional golf lessons and excellent views. The next day I woke up early and wandered around the resort. The already vast resort is connected to the endless sea, making it even more expansive and tranquil. Surrounded by greenery, the sparse rooms add a lot of tranquility.
The hotel staff who accompanied me were very curious about the greenery and told me that the fruit was lemon trees, orange trees and olive trees, and that when the hotel was closed in winter, they would start picking and stockpiling them for the next year's guests. Smelling the fruit, I couldn't help but fantasize about how happy it would be if I could come here every year with my friends and family to rest for a while, facing the sea every day, and only caring about how well the fruit grew last year.
Just as I was thinking about it, the hotel staff just took me to the one- to two-bedroom suites. Inside, the various areas are well divided and comfortably designed, especially for families or couples, and the outdoor terrace and pool itself are already impeccable, plus the endless lawn and sea views make it easy to forget all your worries in an instant. In particular, the seamless connection between the room and the lawn, you can step into nature and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, I believe that no matter how old a friend is, he will be happy like a child when he comes here.
Walking from the lawn connected to the room, you can go directly to the beach by the sea, there is 230 hectares of coastline, although unfortunately it is not possible to go to the sea due to the low season, but it is also very comfortable to sit here for a while and blow the monsoon wind from the Mediterranean. I can't imagine how comfortable it would be to gather here with family and friends during the peak summer season, surfing in the ocean and playing on the golf course.
In addition to connecting to the sea, the lawn in front of the suite is also connected to the hotel lobby, and the hotel has placed loungers in front of the lobby pool, on the beach by the sea, and in the coconut grove on the shore.
I was a little hungry and was going to have breakfast, but I came too late yesterday and hadn't looked carefully at the hotel lobby. The lobby is designed to be simple and elegant, with a variety of art sculptures placed in the middle, girls are naturally not resistant to jewelry, and the coral ornaments designed and made by local artists really make people want to take a few more looks.
Breakfast is also very interesting, with a variety of fruits and vegetables arranged for guests to mix and match according to their preferences, and then cut and juice them themselves. I squeezed a glass of fruit and vegetable juice that wasn't too dark, and served it with a traditional grilled sausage bun and sat in the terrace area of the restaurant while enjoying the sea breeze. In the end, I forgot the time, and after leaving, I found that I actually ate for more than two hours, no wonder the hotel is close to closing and full every day, it is really comfortable here.

The hotel has the largest spa in the region, covering an area of 4,000 square meters, in addition to treatment rooms, gymnasium and indoor pool, the most special is the 4 saltwater spa pools. I stayed here all afternoon, first swimming in the indoor heated pool, then going to the outdoor spa for a relaxing massage, and I experienced almost all the facilities, which was a thorough nourishment and healing.
After an afternoon of healing, the body is detoxified and the stomach is freed up for a delicious dinner. In the evening, we went to the hotel's other restaurant, ZAGARA, which is full of local specialties. Named after the hotel's orange blossom, the menu showcases the Mediterranean, with locally grown vegetables and seafood caught in the Mediterranean. We ordered our signature dishes, both traditional and freshly savoured, which were delicious. My friends and I were eating and chatting, and before I knew it, it was late at night. I can't help but wonder that Verdura Resort has a kind of magic that makes you forget the time.
