This work is a four-screen "Autumn HuaTu" made overseas in the early 1990s. The symbolic form used represents my academic pursuit of painting during that period. There is no doubt that my painting state is very relaxed and natural! Despite this, what cannot be concealed from the visual picture is a faint nostalgia and autumn melancholy. Shi Hu,
Born in 1942 in Xushui County, Hebei Province,
In 1958, he entered the Beijing Arts and Crafts School.
In 1960, he entered the Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts.
In 1962, he was conscripted into the army for six years.
In 1968, he taught at the Beijing Arts and Crafts School.
In 1977, he worked at the People's Fine Arts Publishing House.
In 1978, as the only artist in the Chinese government delegation, he accompanied the delegation to 13 African countries.

In 1982, he held a solo exhibition at the Nanjing Museum.
