The new car, code-named C095, is positioned as a luxury medium- and large-sized MPV model, and is expected to be officially released in the second half of this year after benchmarking models such as Toyota Alpha and Buick GL8 Aivia.
Despite the thick camouflage of the new car, it can still be seen that the appearance adopts the design of the Hongqi family, and the iconic straight waterfall grille of the Hongqi occupies a considerable part of the front face, and the elements such as the split headlights and the vertical red flag logo of the cover are not absent. At least in terms of appearance, Hongqi's new MPV has a very strong aura.
There are two smooth waist lines on the side of the car, which can well connect the door to the rear position. The rear adopts the MPV standard body shape, and the two-color body has also appeared in the previous rendering gallery, and the overall luxury car is full of momentum. For better comfort, the road test vehicle is equipped with large flat tires and small size wheels, which is not very good visually.
In terms of interior, the new car follows the latest design of the Hongqi family, equipped with a suspended large-size central control screen and a three-spoke multi-functional steering wheel, and adopts the single change mechanism often used in traditional luxury MPV models to integrate with the center console, and the lower part of the center console adopts a hollow design to provide a good sense of space.
The second row can be seen equipped with electric liftable leg rests, side window sunshades, the seat style also looks very advanced, and it is expected that the seat massage, heating and ventilation and other configurations will not be absent.
According to the news previously exposed, the new car will be equipped with a transverse 2.0T engine codenamed 4GC20TD, matched with an 8AT gearbox, and is expected to exceed the maximum power of the 252 horsepower of the Hongqi H9 2.0T model in terms of power.
There is no disclosure on the price, but from the perspective of the positioning and size of the new car, it is expected to be a 500,000 yuan luxury MPV model.
The launch of this new MPV will further enrich Hongqi's product range, and also fill the market gap of its own brand high-end MPV. Previously, the domestic market was almost monopolized by joint ventures and foreign brands.
