Recently, the ice and snow-themed animation promotional film "China Ice and Snow Expansion (Season 2)", initiated and produced by the Winter Sports Management Center of the State General Administration of Sports and specially supported by Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio, was broadcast. The 1 minute and 25 seconds short film with the theme of "300 million people participating in ice and snow sports" is the theme, and the classic image of snow children, little rabbit Taotao, Sun Wukong, Nezha and so on breaks the dimension, competes with athletes on the same stage, and enhances the popularity of ice and snow sports among the public. During the Beijing Winter Olympics from January 20 to the Beijing Winter Olympics, the film will be broadcast on various provincial satellite tv platforms to cheer for the Beijing Winter Olympics.

The snow child issued an "ice and snow assembly order", and together with the little rabbit Taotao, he gathered Sun Wukong, Nezha, Huluwa, Big Ear Tutu and other partners to participate together, taking everyone to experience the "fast and furious" of seven major ice and snow sports such as cross-country skiing, ice hockey, curling, etc., and feel the joy of ice and snow sports together. In "China's Ice and Snow Expansion (Season 2)", the classic animation characters and athletes of Shangmei Film jointly interpreted the Winter Olympic sports projects, which triggered the praise of the audience, "childhood memories and the Winter Olympics".

Li Zhao, deputy director of Shanghai Fine Arts Film Studio, introduced that the "Great Expansion of China's Ice and Snow" released in 2019 has received widespread attention and discussion from everyone, and many people hope to see more related works. As a result, Shangmei Film continued to "send" out classic roles, performing "China's Ice and Snow Expansion (Season 2)" - "Ice and Snow Peers to the Future". It took a total of 1 year from the idea to the production, and the Winter Sports Management Center of the State General Administration of Sport gave a lot of professional guidance.

"China's Ice and Snow Expansion" is all performed by the classic animated characters of Shangmei Film, and in the second season, an animated version of the athletes was added, bringing a real sense of interaction and participation. In the part of the animated characters, it is also combined with its own characteristics to create fun. For example, Sun Wukong said that the hockey club is a "golden hoop stick with a bend"; the double slide staged by Snow Child and Taotao restores the classic animation plot; "Winter Olympics, Winter Olympics, Meet Beijing and Wait for You" adapts the familiar songs in "Hulu Brothers", which is catchy and highlights the background of the Winter Olympics.

In addition to the two promotional films, Shangmei Film also participated in the creation of the animated big movie "Our Winter Olympics". As the first mascot animated film in the history of the Olympic Games, "Our Winter Olympics" tells the story of many Chinese animation characters and the mascot of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics "Ice Pier" and the Winter Paralympic Mascot "Snow Rongrong", a multi-chapter story about unity, dreams, courage and hard work around the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Village, which will be released on February 19, 2022.

"We made a lot of bold attempts in the film and looked forward to surprise the audience." Li Zhao introduced that the two promotional films plus a movie constitute the overall attempt of Shangmei Film to use animation images to help promote the Winter Olympics.
