The relevant person in charge of Shijingshan District said that as an important part of the service guarantee of the Winter Olympic Games, the Winter Olympic Park carries the beautiful vision of "letting the Olympics light up the dreams of young people, let winter sports integrate into hundreds of millions of people, let the Olympic games benefit development and progress, and let the world know each other more". Two years ago, the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games public art works launched a global public collection, and artists from more than 50 countries and regions submitted 1611 application plans. In the end, 15 sculptures from 6 countries were selected, and at present, 15 sculptures have been laid out along the park running route, these precious sculptures are the artistic carriers for exchanging Winter Olympic culture and transmitting the Olympic spirit, carrying the beautiful vision of "making the Olympic Event benefit development and progress, and making the world more aware of each other", and also greatly improving the quality of the urban landscape around the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and the Shougang Ski Jump, becoming a cultural and artistic heritage left to Beijing by the Winter Olympics.
Located in the square at the beginning of the Marathon Base Camp in the Winter Olympic Park, "Snow Child" is the first sculpture to be completed, and it has now become a punching point for Internet celebrities in the park. Liu Yang, the author of the sculpture, said in a pun, "'Snow Child' who travels around the world is coming home." Born in Harbin, Liu Yang grew up loving ice and snow sports, and over the years he has designed more than 70 public sculptures for more than 30 countries, but he hopes to build the best sculptures in China. At last year's Tokyo Olympic Games, the Olympic slogan added "more unity" to the three individuals, the character image of the snow child square head, no expression, no eyes and nose, no gender, age, and occupational region, in a minimalist way to highlight the relationship between the characters, the relationship between human beings needing solidarity and mutual assistance, reflecting the theme of unity and fraternity. "'Snow Child' is a cultural messenger connecting the world, and his brothers are all over the world, 'The Snow Child in The Embrace' was built in the Republic of Chuvash in Russia, 'The Snow Child Holding Hands' was built on the beautiful shores of Lake Baikal, and 'Thinking Snow Child' was built in Hoye, a small town on the border between Denmark and Germany.

Located in the Huahaixiang Scenic Area of the Winter Olympic Park, Lyrical Information is a 3-meter-high stainless steel sculpture with a rounded shape that expresses the concept of unity and integration. Ilkel Yaldemqi, a designer from Turkey, designed a sculpture for the Beijing Olympic Park in 2008, so it is also a "double Olympic sculpture". Ilkel Jardemci said: "I am honored to design sculptures for the two Olympic Games in China. The main body of the sculpture "Lyrical Information" is a huge stainless steel ball and a piece of DNA spiral structure, with its dynamic rotating shape and the surrounding environment to maintain unity, the round shape contains its own interpretation and interpretation of traditional Chinese culture, DNA spiral structure represents the basis of human life, I hope that people who see this sculpture can recognize the great role of the Olympic Games on human unity and world development.
