In Pu'an Village, Zhong County, more than 700 meters above sea level, since 2014, Wang Pu and his wife have been the only two teachers in Pu'an Village, and their wives are still temporary employees. For 22 years, together with other teachers, they have cared for the children's growth with love and dedication, helped more than 1,000 mountain children out of the mountains, and Pu'an Village Has become a veritable "husband and wife village".

"I grew up in the village, I have a lot of affection for my hometown, after becoming a teacher, I thought that my hometown had not trained college students for many years, so I decided to go back to my hometown to teach and change my hometown with knowledge."
Mentioning the reasons for choosing to return to Pu'an Village, Wang Puping said peacefully.
His wife, Zhang Wenfang, was very supportive of her husband Wang Pu's insistence. "When I first came here, I felt a little bored, but after a long time, I had feelings for the mountain and the children, but I didn't want to leave." She said that she will stay in this place for the rest of her life, take care of a bunch of children, cook and wash for them, and hope that they can all grow up happily and healthily.

Because some families are too far away from the town and their parents have not been around for a long time, a small number of children in Pu'an Village choose to complete their early studies in the village primary school, and after the second grade, they transfer to the local central primary school to continue their education. In the cold and summer, Pu'an Village Primary School has gone from more than 100 students at the beginning to only 2 second-grade students and 4 kindergarten students. Most of them come from difficult families, and under the careful teaching of the couple, the children are particularly sensible and full of longing for the world outside the mountains.

On weekdays, Wang Pu is responsible for all the courses of primary school students, and his wife is responsible for the education of several young children. Every day at lunchtime, it is the "reunion" moment of the couple, picking vegetables, cooking, sour radish duck, shredded fungus, back to the pot meat... They went from teachers to cooks, changing patterns to improve the children's food.

When they first arrived at the school, the couple planted two trees in front of the school, and more than 20 years later, the small saplings have grown into a tree more than 20 meters high, standing majestically in front of the school gate, accompanying the couple through the four seasons. In their leisure time, the couple raised a few chickens, and also opened up a vegetable field outside the school, planting a lot of varieties, spinach, radish and other seasonal vegetables, students like to eat, which adds a little fun to the ordinary rural life. The actions of Teacher Wang and his wife touched the surrounding neighbors, who took the initiative to send fresh vegetables, but the couple directly refused.

For more than 20 years, Wang Pu and his wife have trained more than 100 college students and helped more than 1,000 students out of the mountains. At present, although the school has only a few students, it has become the sustenance of Wang Pu and his wife. In 2020, the couple's only son fell ill and died at the age of 28.
For the future, Wang Pu said that he will work until retirement, he is 57 years old this year, and there are more than 2 years to retire. He said that after retirement, it is difficult to have new teachers to take over, and the students of the village primary school will transfer to Wangshui Primary School. Then, the village has completed his mission. It is understood that the village is under the jurisdiction of the local Wangshui Central Primary School, which is only 8 kilometers away from the Wangshui Central Primary School.
