The old monk pondered for a moment and said slowly: "Female benefactor, your fate cannot be changed by manpower. However, you can improve your realm through practice and bring yourself closer to the essence of a bodhisattva. When you attain positive results, your destiny will also change. ”
Cuihua's heart suddenly brightened, and she decided to stay in the temple to practice in order to get rid of the fate of this Lianke Sanfu. In the days of the temple, Cuihua humbly asked the old monk for teachings, chanted the Buddha day and night, and her soul was gradually purified. He claimed to be a well-traveled businessman named Li Hao, who was injured by an encounter with a bandit. During the conversation, Li Hao was moved by Cuihua's kindness and compassion, and developed a deep affection for her.
However, Cuihua kept a distance from Li Hao's feelings. She knew that she was the reincarnation of a Bodhisattva, and that her path of cultivation was long and arduous, and she did not want to waver in her determination because of her children's personal feelings. However, Li Hao's sincerity and persistence made her unable to refuse. He accompanies Cuihua every day, sharing the trivial chores of the temple for her, and often brings her news and gifts from outside the mountain.
With the passage of time, Cuihua's feelings for Li Hao have gradually changed. She found herself looking forward to getting along with Li Hao and began to enjoy the warmth and companionship. However, in the dead of night, she would fall into deep contradictions and struggles. She didn't know if she should give up her practice and pursue this relationship.
By chance, Cuihua asked the old monk about this question again. The old monk smiled and told her, "Female benefactor, the path of cultivation is not alone. When you meet someone who is truly worth cherishing, you might as well let go of the obsession in your heart and embrace this feeling. A true bodhisattva must not only have compassion, but also have the courage to face and accept every gift in life. ”
Cuihua suddenly realized after hearing this. She decided to let go of the obsession in her heart and accept this feeling. She told Li Hao about her decision, and the two spent a wonderful time in the temple hand in hand.
However, the good times were short-lived. One day, the bandits attacked again, and the temple was in crisis. Cuihua and Li Hao did not hesitate to stand up and resist the attack of the bandits together with the monks of the temple. In battle, Cuihua showed amazing courage and wisdom, and she used her actions to protect the safety of the temple and the monks.
The bandits were eventually repulsed, but Cuihua was also seriously wounded in the battle. At the last moment of her life, she held Li Hao's hand tightly and said to him with a smile: "Thank you for accompanying me through this journey." Although I can't accompany you to the end, please believe that I will always be there for you to protect you. ”
After saying this, Cuihua closed her eyes peacefully. Her body gradually emitted a soft light, as if a bodhisattva had descended. Li Hao was grief-stricken, but he knew that Cuihua had achieved positive results and returned to the Bodhisattva's side.
Since then, the monks in the temple will often see a soft light rising from the mountain behind the temple at night, illuminating the entire mountain forest. They all know that it is the Emerald Flower Bodhisattva who is guarding this land and the people here. And Li Hao often comes to the temple to offer incense and prayers to the Cuihua Bodhisattva, thanking her for the happiness and warmth she has brought to him. He has not forgotten the time when he was in trouble, nor has he forgotten that it was the green flowers and the monks of the temple who gave him a new life. Li Hao's good deeds spread all over the world, and people praised him as a businessman with affection and righteousness. However, he has always maintained a humble and low profile, always saying, "Everything I do, is to remember a special person who taught me what true kindness and compassion are." ”

It was then that they remembered the emerald flowers. Although Cuihua has been dead for many years, Li Hao believes that she will definitely help them in some way. So, they took Xiao Li to the temple, knelt in front of Cuihua's tomb, and prayed for her blessing.

After their deaths, they were buried next to Cuihua's grave, so that the lovers would always be by Cuihua's side.
