During the Spring Festival last year, I took my son on a self-driving tour, departed from Kunming, and traveled through Dali to The Ancient Village of Noodeng in Yunlong County, and climbed the Taiji Observatory to overlook the miraculous Tai Chi map of nature.

We cooked and slept in the car on the road, so that the child felt the original self-driving tour.

In Nuodeng Ancient Village, we felt the wisdom of the working people in the past, the ancient village that was prosperous because of salt, and the legend of the mabang that was prosperous because of salt.

Of course, along the way, my child and I also talked about my story, his future. We talked about many stories around me and my relatives. Tell him that in fact, everyone has poetry and far away, poetry or far or near, but everyone lives to have a story, to a certain age there will always be some regrets, but more should be a story that can be passed down, to be a person with a story, especially a man to be a man with a story.

In the process of driving, we deliberately chose some trails, and we saw many people and things that we had never seen before, and we also saw the beauty of the great rivers and rivers. I was going to take him to meet a family I had helped, but because the people I sponsored didn't come home because of the pandemic, and they were farther off our track, I didn't go, but this time I told this story to my children, and it was the first time I told it. I think there was some inspiration for him as well.

Leaving Dali, we went to the Nu River, and on the slopes of the Nu River Gorge we saw poverty and backwardness, and also witnessed the simplicity and barrenness of the mountains. I also saw the city abandoned for fear of geological disasters. We lived in this abandoned town and met industrious and brave inhabitants. We saw the snow peaks, we saw the church, we saw the Crown Peaks, we saw the canyons, we saw the flying stones that came from the movement of the earth's crust, we saw the kind and simple children of the mountain villages, and we met the industrious and brave villagers. Of course, we also saw the relocated residential buildings of the party and state governments and the rainbow cycling avenue specially built for mountain cyclists next to the canyon road to avoid their danger in the endless traffic flow.

I think tourism should not be a photo of the flowers, but more deep depth to travel, to feel the cultural life of the local people, to experience the unique historical heritage of each place, to lament the changes of nature, and to sigh the bravery and strength of human beings to conquer nature.
