On the first day of the Spring Festival in 2022, You Jianchuan, a member of the party group and vice president of the First Court of Railway Transport in Chengdu, led a legal popularization team composed of 11 people from the Second Comprehensive Trial Division to enter the Chengdu East Railway Station to carry out the "Spring Warm Return and Walk with the Law" law popularization publicity activity.
At the Chengdu East Railway Station, the law popularization team distributed more than 1,000 copies of publicity brochures such as the "Civil Code of the People's Republic of China", "Legal Knowledge of Migrant Workers" and "Railway Safety Knowledge Manual" to passengers.
The law popularization team distributed more than 500 typical cases combining cartoons and texts in the waiting room, such as "reasonable and well-founded, say no to 'hegemony'", "abide by epidemic prevention regulations, return home healthily", "buy tickets in good faith, travel in a civilized manner", "fear life, do not cross railway lines", "prevent telecommunications fraud, say 'no' to strange text messages and links", and other cases, so that passengers can more intuitively understand the relevant legal knowledge with typical cases.
The law popularization team set up legal service consultation points in the tourist-intensive areas, and the judges explained legal knowledge to the vast number of tourists in a way that was popular with the masses and in plain and easy-to-understand language, and patiently answered the consultation questions raised by the passengers.
This popularization of law has deepened the understanding of the majority of passengers on the legal knowledge of railway transportation.
