On January 19, the evaluation results of Model No. 29 of China New Car Evaluation Regulation (C-NCAP) were announced, and the scoring rate of Lantu FREE occupant protection sub-item was 94.39%, the scoring rate of pedestrian protection sub-item was 75.09%, and the score rate of active safety sub-item was 100%, with a comprehensive score rate of 92.3%, it won the "five-star" evaluation of C-NCAP test, and ranked first in the comprehensive score of new energy models of Chinese brands.

Occupant protection score rate of 94.39% Lantu FREE defines a five-star safety standard

In the part of occupant protection that users value most, Lantu FREE scored 94.39%. Among them, the complete frontal collision test score was 18.675 (out of 20 points), the frontal 40% bias crash test score was 17.854 (out of 20 points), the side collision test scored 20 points, and the whipping test score was 4.541 (out of 5 points). After the side impact test, the entire side body structure of the Landu FREE was fully absorbed and deformed, the living space of the occupants in the car was not significantly invaded, the seat side airbags and head air curtains were smoothly unfolded in time, and enough protective areas avoided direct contact between the head and the window glass and interior parts. At the same time, the B-pillar of the TRB thermoforming process used by Lantu FREE and the door anti-collision beam of 2000MPa aluminum-silicon coating material used for the first time in the global model effectively improve the stiffness and strength of the vehicle.
