In order to comply with the new trend of automobile industry reform, condense the new kinetic energy of automobile evaluation, and help the new development of automobile technology, on April 8, the 2022 Automobile Evaluation International Summit and C-NCAP Annual Conference hosted by China Automotive Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. As a major highlight, CHINA AUTOMOBILE Center released the "Blue Book of China Automobile Evaluation" and the "Special Evaluation Regulations for Micro Electric Vehicles". The former comprehensively presents the overall results of the two major evaluation projects of C-NCAP and CCRT in 2018-2021, and summarizes and expounds the phased trends of automotive safety and other performances. "Micro Electric Vehicle Special Evaluation Procedures" is in response to consumer demand, under the framework of C-NCAP and CCRT system, comprehensive consideration of the market positioning of micro electric vehicles, development and design difficulties and consumer concerns, the formulation of special evaluation procedures, China Automobile Center aims to implement the regulations, so that its evaluation can better reflect the local traffic accident patterns in China, provide consumers with more vehicle information and actual use experience, further promote the technological progress of automobile enterprises, improve vehicle safety and driving experience.

C-NCAP results released

At the C-NCAP Annual Meeting, the CHINA AUTOMOBILE Center released the "C-NCAP Roadmap (2022-2028)" and the "Side Impact Moving Deformable Barrier (SC-MBD) suitable for China". According to the action plan, the China Automobile Center will advance the research process of the evaluation procedures in the form of a road map, and reserve more sufficient time for the industry to study demonstration and planning and design. The C-NCAP roadmap (2022-2028) released this time mainly provides directional support for the revision of the C-NCAP 2025 version of the regulations, and also clarifies the direction for the research of the C-NCAP 2028 version of the regulations, which has been widely concerned by the automotive industry.
